Jeremie J. Wattellier
Mr. Dang was formerly in-house counsel for a number of Silicon Valley start-ups and companies, such as IBM and CA Technologies. He previously practiced as a corporate attorney with extensive experience in corporate and regulatory compliance, software and content/data licensing, brand and product marketing, intellectual property, and commercial transactions. His background also includes data privacy and security, mergers and acquisitions, and product and business development. Mr. Dang is licensed to practice in New York.
Ms. Hoffman is a licensed California attorney dedicated to serving the community by providing high-quality legal representation. She has been admitted to practice before the to the State Bar of California, the United States District Court, Southern District of California and the United States District Court, Central District of California.
Ms. Hoffman earned her JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University. Prior to becoming an attorney she worked for ten years as a paralegal in California.
With over seventeen years of professional experience in the legal field, she has the qualifications necessary to effectively and passionately handle civil litigation matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability, contract disputes, construction defect, fraud, elder abuse, insurance defense, insurance coverage opinions, and general civil litigation.
In Memoriam. After a long battle with glioblastoma, Jeremie passed away in December 2025. He will be remembered foremost as a kind person, and friend. Condolences go out to his wife Aubrey, and his two children.
A native of Brazil, Ms. Distefano has worked as a litigator for over 20 years. She received her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego (Revelle College). Her current practice areas focus on personal injury and insurance defense. She has extensive experience in commercial collections litigation.
Martin Reilley has been a trial lawyer his entire professional life, trying more than 50 jury trials to conclusion. For the first 18 years of his practice, Mr. Reilley was a defense attorney representing individuals and companies being sued in cases involving personal injury, professional malpractice (medical doctors and hospitals, architects, real estate agents and brokers), product liability, wrongful termination, and construction defects.
Mr. Reilley has been given an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. In 1993, Mr. Reilley was elected into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Membership in ABOTA is by invitation only and is open exclusively to those attorneys who not only qualify by reason of having extensive jury trial experience, but also "who are considered by their peers to be of high personal character and honorable reputation." ABOTA is considered as one of the most prestigious trial lawyer groups in the country.
Ms. Buda has prior experience, litigating from the plaintiff’s side. She also has experience defending body injury and contractual liability claims throughout the state. Her aggressive style of efficacy has set her above most other associate attorneys in the area.
Charles Shartle was born and raised in Sacramento, California. He graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and continued his education at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento where he earned his J.D. He has since been admitted to the State Bar of California where he has experience in handling various insurance defense matters.
Mr. Wong is originally from the Bay Area, but hails from Los Angeles. He graduated from U.C. Hastings College of the Law, with a focus on civil litigation. His practice areas include construction defect litigation, and personal injury for both the prosecution and defense.
Prior to the practice of law, Mr. Yuen served in the U.S. Air Force, worked in I.T. for 13 years, and served as the Intellectual Property Editor on Law Review. His practice encompasses business disputes/torts, catastrophic personal injury, construction defect, employment, insurance disputes, landlord/tenant, premises liability, product defect, professional liability cases, and transportation—as well as complex, mass torts, and class-action lawsuits—as he typically represents commercial, construction, insurance, and professional clients. Mr. Yuen's case history includes numerous successful trial and appellate results. Successful case results include: a jury verdict after an hour's deliberation; multiple summary judgment motions granted; a dismissal order during the initial pleading stage; non-suits following opening statements, and multiple jury verdicts and arbitration awards. From 2021 to 2025, he was selected to Super Lawyers, an exclusive list of top-rated attorneys who were chosen after thorough evaluation of numerous criteria.
